Upcoming Classes
A sample of the writings of Benjamin Rager, Age 10, of Lorena, Texas. He also happens to be my grandson.
Today, I was walking into my own trap, marching on and on into the Sahara desert, trying to find the mystical Diamond of Haigfisch. I still don’t understand how I got hooked up doing this, but all I can remember was…
I woke up the morning of the summer solstice, of course it being the longest day, people were extraordinarily throbbing with glee. Yet I was still trying to get some sleep, for I was staying up until 4 o’clock in the morning ‘’birdwatching.’’
I finally got up around the time the usual German B-2 bombers flew overhead. I personally believe that any second now, they’re just going to drop those bombs, and start a thundering riot, then us having to take a gander, we’ll chug out our few numbers of battlemen. That’s when I united with the small regiment of soldiers we have on Greybeard Island. My mission was to retrieve the Haigfisch gem into the United States’ hands before the German’s got it. For all the power of the new and improvised weaponry was coming from the Haigfisch gem.
… So that brings us back here. I’m still chugging along the sandy hills, in search of any other resistant life, trying to get there before me.
